Residue monitoring
In 2011, the scheme participants in all stages performed a
total of 8,927 analyses within the residue monitoring, an
increase of 2,182 on the previous year. The percentage of
complaints was slightly up on 2010, suggesting that the risk
orientation practice introduced in 2011 is taking effect.
Sanction procedures
In 2011, the sanction board dealt with a total of 80 sanction
cases in the supply chain fruit, vegetables and potatoes.
Compared to previous years, the number of sanction
procedures in the stage production has declined significantly.
This is mainly due to the decrease in the number of violations
involving the use of non-approved plant protection products.
