Style guide for the QS certification mark - Revised edition published

QS has revised the structure and layout of the style guide for the use of the QS certification mark, further specifying the rules for use on composite products. The new version of the style guide can now be downloaded from the QS website.

Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2): Extension of all QS eligibilities of delivery

Due to the current spread of the coronavirus, the eligibility of delivery of all QS certified locations will be extended by two months. According to the extended QS eligibility of delivery, necessary QS audits can be postponed to a later date.

In view of the current spread of the coronavirus (Sars-CoV-2), QS has already pointed out that upcoming audit dates can be postponed at the discretion and after consultation with the respective certification body. This regulation also applies to the annual audits that must be carried out for recognition in an external system.

Supporting document on listeria prevention: QS publishes revised version

Together with experts from industry and science, QS has developed a supporting document for slaughterhouses, deboning- and processing-plants to determine the risk of Listeria monocytogenes occurrence and reduce it if necessary. The supporting document shows how the risk of Listeria can be assessed in a systematic self-assessment based on the products, processes and structural conditions.
