The QS certification mark may not be used without the prior written consent of QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH or its coordinators, who are authorised to sub-license this right. Unauthorised depiction of the QS certification mark is prohibited. QS reserves the right to take legal steps against anyone who depicts, copies or otherwise uses the QS certification mark and the marks of QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH without explicit prior approval.
In order to reenforce the recognition value of the QS certification mark, it is necessary to ensure that the QS certification mark is used in a standardised manner.
As a QS scheme participant, you may use the QS certification mark on advertising materials, packaging materials, letterheads or similar advertising media.

As a QS scheme participant, you may use the QS certification mark on advertising materials, packaging materials, letterheads or similar advertising media.
Before you use the QS certification mark for these purposes, however, this use must be approved by QS head office. This ensures that your use of the QS certification mark complies with the rules. This approval can also prevent cost-intensive production of media with a non-compliant certification mark. As the authorised user, however, you remain responsible for the legal admissibility of your use of the mark for advertising purposes.
