Pet food

Since March 2023, QS has offered a programme for quality and process assurance in the production of dog and cat food for companies in the pet food industry. The programme takes into account the entire pet food production value chain. The QS requirements in question form the basis for awarding pet food (feed, treats and chew toys) for dogs and cats with the product seal of the Initiative Tierwohl (ITW), for which interested companies have been able to register since July 2023.
