QS-Report Meat and Meat Products (02/2016)

Dear Sir or Madam,

The commenting phase for the revision of the guidelines 2017 is currently running. All scheme participants, auditors and all other interested persons have the opportunity to read and comment the revised guidelines until 15 November. An overview of the changes can be found - alongside other current topics in the QS scheme - on page 3 of the present QS-Report Meat and Meat Products.

We would like to mention the media reports of recent violations in livestock farming. We investigated the allegations, carried out audits immediately and threw light on the matter. On the one hand, it was about protecting our scheme participants from unjustified allegations. At the same time, however, we also deal with the question of how to avoid mistakes and deficiencies, to react appropriately to incidents and to better enlighten.
