The internationalization of QS-recognized laboratories in residue monitoring continues to progress. Since August, QS has recognized a laboratory for residue monitoring from Peru. A total of 2/3 of the more than 90 laboratories listed are based abroad. With a Peruvian laboratory, QS is once again expanding its links at international level and is also positioning itself increasingly well outside the national market. This gives QS scheme participants another opportunity to inspect products directly in the country of origin for compliance with the applicable maximum residue levels for plant protection products and limit values for contaminants.
