Another area of plant hygiene is the monitoring and control of pests on agricultural businesses. In accordance with criterion 3.6.5 Pest monitoring and control of the Agricultural livestock farming guidelines, livestock owners are obliged to monitor pest infestations on their company and to document both the control and monitoring measures.
