As of now, the revised additional control plan Aflatoxin B1 in maize, which will come into force from 20.09.2021, is available on the QS website. The risk classifications for the 2021 maize harvest were made on the basis of updated weather data, results already available for the new harvest, and past classifications. As a result, the risk classifications for the countries of origin Serbia, Ukraine and Hungary have changed from low to medium.
