The additional control plan for Aflatoxin B1 in maize has been revised with effect from 11 December 2019. Based on the available results for Aflatoxin B1, the revised version includes new risk classifications for Italy, Hungary and Ukraine.
For maize from Italy, the risk of contamination with Aflatoxin B1 has been downgraded from high to medium. For Hungary and Ukraine the risk classification has been changed from medium to low. The additional control plan must be implemented in addition to the annual analyses required in the QS scheme in accordance with the guideline feed monitoring.
