Monitoring programmes

In the QS scheme there are several comprehensive monitoring programmes for the livestock farming sector: In QS antibiotics monitoring, veterinarians ensure a reliable data basis by recording antibiotic prescriptions for pigs, poultry and cattle in the QS antibiotics database. With the QS salmonella monitoring, farmers, veterinarians, abattoirs and laboratories also make an active contribution to the quality assurance of the food. In combination with the monitoring of antibiotics and salmonella, the monitoring of diagnostic data represents an essential pillar in the evaluation of animal health.

Registration for the QS scheme

In order to enter data on the use and dispensing of antibiotics into the antibiotics database as part of QS antibiotics monitoring, you - as a veterinarian or as a veterinary practice - conclude a contract with QS. Veterinarians or veterinary practices that take samples from farms as part of QS salmonella monitoring register in the salmonella database. Here you will find detailed information on participating in the QS scheme.
