Listeria monocytogenes: Supporting document for prevention

In order to support the partners in slaughtering, deboning and processing in the QS scheme, QS has developed a supporting document that can be used to assess the risk of contamination of Listeria monocytogenes in the company. With the help of numerous information and tips, a systematic self-assessment can be carried out. This makes it possible to assess the risk of contamination with Listeria monocytogenes on the basis of the structural conditions and work processes in the company and to initiate appropriate preventive measures. In addition, the supporting document provides recommendations for action that can be taken into account in the event of identified risks or if Listeria monocytogenes is detected.
