With effect from 05 August 2019, the additional control plan Aflatoxin B1 was revised. The revised version contains a new risk classification for Ukraine, based on the available results for aflatoxin B1.
This country of origin or cultivation has been upgraded (together with the other standard setters: AIC, EFISC-GTP, GMP+ Int. and OVOCOM) from a low to a medium risk for the contamination of maize with aflatoxin.
